Atlantique Export is an online African food grocery, based in Montréal.

We import and distribute products from Senegal and West Africa: grains and starches, natural powders, spices and condiments, teas and drinks, snacks, and frozen goods.

Tastes that travel, hospitality that stays.

The catalogue opens with fruit pulps — madd and ditakh — and prepared madd. Each product states its origin, its declared allergens and its storage conditions. Fish, fruit and vegetables will join them.

Atlantique Export is, before anything else, a story of friendship.

We are a group of friends who share the same roots, the same memories and above all the same wish: to find in Canada the products and the flavours we grew up with.

It started with a simple observation. Some of the products we had always known were hard to find here, especially when we were looking for something fresh, genuine and good. Mangoes, madd and other West African products meant far more to us than food: they carried a culture, habits, moments shared with others.

As we talked, an idea took shape: why not build the link ourselves, between African producers and the people here?

That is how Atlantique Export was born.

Our aim is to choose products we would be glad to find on our own table, and to work directly with partners and producers we trust, so that these products become available in Canada.

But Atlantique Export goes beyond importing. We want to build a real bridge between two continents: to show the richness of African products to a new audience, and to let those who already know them find a little piece of home.

From Africa to Canada, we bring flavours, cultures and people closer together.
